While we are sad that the Showcase Schools program has ended, we are grateful for the past five years growing and learning with educators across NYC. We want to thank all of you — our nearly 13,000 visitors, 85 host schools, and countless friends — for your support and work towards sharing promising practices citywide. In the spirit of collaboration, we will continue to keep our website and resources available. Access visitor resources via the Our Visitors tab above. You can also read our final issue of Noteworthy: The Showcase Schools Newsletter here. Please continue to keep in touch and share your stories of change, leadership, and growth with us at showcaseschools@gmail.com or #showcaseschoolsnyc.

The Showcase Schools program is designed to recognize and share promising practices across New York City Department of Education schools by providing innovative professional development for educators by educators.

With support from the Showcase Team, Showcase schools design and host visits that are active, transformational learning experiences to expose visitors to promising practices and the conditions that help those practices thrive.

From 2014 to 2019 the Showcase Schools Team has collaborated with 85 schools across the city to host 475 visits, offering 73,470 hours of professional development to nearly 13,000 visitors.
